With the construction of the new school campus in Neubukow, a modern center for education, care, and leisure activities was created between 2017 and 2023. The campus combines a generously designed primary school, an after-school care center, and a youth club – and has a lasting impact on the city's educational offerings.

The construction of the new school campus in Neubukow between 2017 and 2023 created a modern center for education, care, and leisure activities. The campus combines a generously designed primary school for around 240 children, an after-school care center for 176 children, and a youth club for about 30 adolescents—thus sustainably shaping the city's educational offering. On a total area of 3,352 m², space was created not only for modern educational and care facilities but also for outdoor sports and play areas. The architectural concept aims to create an open and inviting place where children and young people can learn, play, and develop together.

The school campus also sets new standards in the area of leisure activities: several sports fields, activity zones, and recreation areas promote physical activity and enable a varied community experience. The campus strengthens the city's social fabric and offers ideal conditions for both curricular and extracurricular learning. A key concern was to implement an access control concept that ensures the safety of children and staff as well as barrier-free access. Robust and resilient systems had to be combined with a clearly structured access concept that meets the requirements of a modern school operation.

Our products in use

For the school campus and the newly constructed sports hall, the electronic locking system ixalo based on SE technology from BKS was used. It is part of an overarching usage concept and enables flexible, secure access control. All security-relevant doors were also equipped with multi-point locks and panic locks to ensure maximum protection in everyday life as well as in emergencies.

The innovative electronic locking system ixalo with SE technology offers flexible expandability and can be combined with existing mechanical components. In addition, the ixalo hardware and BKS KeyManager software ensure maximum security. The energy-efficient SE technology enables a high number of locking cycles (up to 600,000) and long standby times (up to 10 years).

The electrically controlled panic door locks from BKS offer secure escape door solutions with clear signaling and convenient control. The compact systems, available in surface-mounted or flush-mounted versions, meet the highest safety standards according to DIN EN 13637 and EltVTR. Thanks to their modular design, network connectivity, and a wide range of functions, individual door solutions can be easily implemented—space-saving and reliable.
