Standards and security requirements
Panic locks for timber and steel doors meet the highest safety standards according to DIN EN 179 (emergency exits) and DIN EN 1125 (panic doors) and are also certified according to DIN EN 12209 and DIN 18251 for mechanical locks. VdS-tested variants are suitable for use in burglar-resistant doors according to DIN EN 1627–1630. Many models also offer fire and smoke protection suitability as well as CE marking for the European market.
