Standards and safety requirements
Mortise locks for timber and steel doors meet the highest safety standards in accordance with EN 12209 and DIN 18251. Versions with panic function also comply with the European standards EN 179 (emergency exits) and EN 1125 (panic doors). VdS-certified variants are approved for use in burglar-resistant doors according to DIN EN 1627–1630. Many models also feature fire and smoke protection suitability as well as CE marking for the European market.
