What is an electrically couplable lock?
An electrically couplable lock is a self-locking panic lock whose external lever handle is electrically actuated to control access. It is suitable for both single and double-leaf doors made of wood, steel or tubular frame profiles. The status of lock components such as latch bolt, internal and external lever handles, or lock bolt can be continuously monitored via integrated switches – allowing access to be electrically controlled and monitored.
Electrically couplable locks not only offer the highest security standards, but also maximum convenience in door control. These innovative locks are ideal for use in conjunction with modern access control systems such as GEMOS access or the GEMOS building management system from BKS.
