What is an electrically couplable lock?
An electrically couplable lock is a self-locking panic lock whose outside lever handle is electrically actuated to control access. It is suitable for single- and double-leaf doors made of timber, steel or tubular frame profiles. The states of the lock components such as latch bolt, inside and outside lever handle or lock bolt can be monitored continuously via integrated switches - thus access can be electrically controlled and monitored.
Electrically couplable locks therefore offer not only the highest level of security, but also maximum convenience in door control. These innovative locks are ideally suited for use in conjunction with modern access control systems such as GEMOS access or the GEMOS building management system from BKS.
