I have forgotten my login details from the GU Service Portal. What should I do?
If you no longer have your username or password from the GU Service Portal, unfortunately, you cannot use your GU Service Portal account for direct activation. In this case, please click the button in the "Create new account" section, enter your details, and complete a new registration with manual activation.
Where can I set a new password?
For user verification using your data from the previous GU Service Portal, we only require your previous username and password. Once your account has been activated, you will receive an email and can set a new password for our new platform via the link provided in the email during login.
I am a customer of BKS and GU Baubeschläge. Where should I create my account?
If you are a customer of several companies within our corporate group, you can choose at which company to create your account. During activation, the assignment to the companies where you are a customer will be made automatically, so you can subsequently log in to all companies for which you have been activated using the same user account.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
To reset your password, first click on "Login" under My Area as usual. Enter the email address you used to register on our platform. In the next step, you will have the option to click the "Forgot password" button to reset your password.
Main user and sub-user
What is the difference between a main user and a sub-user?
The difference is that a main user can independently create and manage additional sub-users. The first user to register for a company automatically becomes the main user.
I have been mistakenly set up as the main user. What should I do?
Log in and click on "Delete account" in "My Area". Confirm the security prompt. Once your account has been deleted, the colleague who should be the main user for your company can register anew and will automatically become the main user.
